Why Google is building a self-driving car (and not for Uber)

In a recent interview with The Verge, Google’s Sundar Pichai explained that Google’s car team is “just getting started” and has been working on self-driven cars for years.

But Pichay also explained that the team will likely only focus on autonomous cars that are safe for the driver and that there are “so many” cars that Google can build.

“We’re building cars for self-drivers that are safer for the user,” Pichaidai said.

“That’s the core of it.

You want to build cars that you can drive in a really safe way.”

But the company isn’t only building cars that aren’t unsafe for the human driver.

The company also is working on a self in cars program, which would allow people to own their own car.

That’s an idea that Pichiedai says “has the potential to revolutionize how we interact with our cars.”
